Humans’ relationship to Life is coming back into balance — human to human and human to more-than-human kin — through a cultural and material shift toward liberation and healing.

White people have cultivated the relationships, tools, and ways of being needed to immunize from the cannibalistic mind virus of separation, superiority, supremacy, and insatiable hunger2 (this virus has many names in many cultures; one being Wetiko,the Cree word for a cannibalistic spirit that is driven by greed, excess, and selfish consumption*).

Black, Brown and Indigenous-led movements for abolition, rematriation, and reparations have been successful and are actively honored by white people. The vestiges of racial capitalism and European colonialism are being accounted for, and the work of repair is happening, being grappled with and tended to.

Peoples across the globe who had been included in the category white have done the work necessary to detach their sense of worth, belonging, security, and power from the fake and dangerous source of whiteness. The end of whiteness continues to be tended by wise healers and death doulas who make way for the energies of whiteness to be composted and released, so the forces that animated white supremacy cannot be transmuted into other forms of domination.
